The Shop, founded shortly after the Trust took on the lease, has over the years built up a solid reputation for imaginative quality gifts in all price ranges and consequently has a core of loyal customers who return time and time again.  It covenants its profits to the Trust and, thanks to the efforts of its staff and  volunteers, underpins the project by providing it with a regular source of funds year after year. 

The Shop offers a wonderful variety of designs and styles encompassing a selection of gifts - China, Glass, Toiletries, Stationery ,Childrens Toys and Baby Gifts.  The Buyers source with great care,enthusiam and style. The Merchant's House  is a must for all those who love to shop.

It has recently been refitted.  This gives more space to customers, many of whom have come back to us for several years knowing they can rely on finding the gift for the occasion which is difficult to find elsewhere.
