 Please tick:       Single £12 ……..    Couple £18 ………          Pensioner £10* ….……   Signature ……………………………………………..           Date   …..………………………….. * We  hope that pensioners will be able to pay the standard rate but offer this concession. Please make cheques payable to The Merchant’s House (Marlborough) Trust. If you are a UK taxpayer please consider signing the Gift Aid form overleaf to enable the charity to reclaim tax on your subscription.   To reduce administration costs, please also consider completing the standing order form below, which will enable your membership to be paid automatically by your bank each year. Please note that membership runs from the 1st January annually.  Members joining during the year are requested to note that membership renewal will be due the following January.  Any member joining after September will automatically be entitled to membership for the following year to December. Membership cards will be issued before March each year to enable members to visit the Merchant’s House on opening days.  New members joining during the year will have their cards issued as soon as possible. Please notify the Membership Secretary if there are any changes to your name or address.

Please note that the names and addresses of Friends of the Merchant’s House are entered into our computer and used to print out labels for despatch of newsletters and other pertinent information.  It is also used to provide management information about payment of subscriptions, Friends’ special interest etc.  This helps us to service the Membership more efficiently.  The data WILL NOT be passed to any third party.

You must pay an amount of income tax / capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the charity reclaims in the tax year of your gift.
If in future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains tax equal to the tax that the charity reclaims, you should cancel your declaration (see note 1).
