THE LIBRARY OF THE MERCHANT'S HOUSE

This is a growing resource for the benefit of visitors to The Merchant's House, students and the community of Marlborough.

The object of this unique library is to form a collection of books covering (1) The House of Thomas Bayly and 17th Century Town Life, and (2) the history of Marlborough and its parishes.

The library also holds collections of Journals published by specialist societies and associations covering (1) 17th century subject matter and (2) local history and heritage.
