As a Friend of The Merchant's House Trust, you are able to attend meetings and talks, have free entry to the House and receive the periodic magazine of The Merchant's House Trust, The Marlborough Journal.

 Other Ways to Help - Volunteering Your Time and Talents

Volunteers are need to help in the Shop, as Stewards in the House and for various projects:

  • Could you give an hour or two to steward or guide during opening times in this unique 17th century silk merchant's house? If so, please contact Michael Gray, telephone 01672 511491 or

  • Are you a needle worker? Our current project is Turkey-work for 12 chairs in the dining room.If you would like to exercise your skills, please contact Susan Pearson, telephone 01672 511491.
